Where the standard pullover sweater will do the trick, a sweater with a few buttons allows you the option to easily remove or adjust for temperature fluctuations.
This super affordable option from Edwards is a mostly cotton blend, with just enough acrylic and nylon to make sure it holds its shape for years. The fit is snug but stretchy.

Edwards Tuff-Pil Plus Zip Front Value Cardigan with Pockets | $41.55
This 100 percent acrylic sweater for men is similar to the women’s version above insomuch that it closes all the way to the neck, but with a zipper instead of buttons.
While it’s a low-cost sweater, the zipper is metal to make sure the sweater last for years with good care.
Albeit tough to spot from the image, this sweater also offers two front pockets not found on the women’s sweater above. They’re so handy for stashing your phone, you’ll wish every top you own had them.

For women who prefer a zippered cardigan, this mostly cotton version is even more like the previous sweater than the first one.

The scooped collar of this sweater is not too deep to make impractical for professional environments, but sporty enough to make it more comfortable on cool days. The fit is modern, but not too tight.
